To assure low inert weight of propulsion stages, in many cases the use of a turbo pump feed system is advantageous. This is especially true, in case liquid propellant rocket engines are operating at pressures in excess of 30 bar, as the inert weight of pressure feed systems will increase significantly.
The turbo pump unit is driven by a gas generator – propellants identical to those used in the rocket engine are projected. Alternatively the use of hydrogen peroxide is very promising when designing a very simple and reliable gas generator system.
Our development is based on the philosophy, that only through implementation of technologies enabling series production, cost reduction can be achieved.
After completion of our current development activities we will be able to offer custom tailored turbo pumps. (Additional development activities likely to be required.)
